Barbara Saba is a Sag-Aftra actress, singer, writer, and dancer based in Los Angeles, California. Originally from Rome, Barbara has performed her One Woman show Lies, Anger and Forgiveness at the Hollywood Fringe Festival 2021, where she received several awards and accolades as The Best International Show, Pick of the Fringe, Encore Production Award, and Best drama award at the TVolution Fringe award. Her show has been selected also by the Solofest 2022, Orlando Fringe Festival, where she won the Critic’s choice Award in 2022 and by United Solo- Off Broadway NY 2022. Since she moved to LOS Angeles, she wrote and performed in the short film Vera, that received the Best Inspirational Movie Award at the Oniros Film Festival. She played the role of Cassandra in the New Media Sag series What Brings You in, that was aired in 2020 and 2021 on Amazon. In 2022 she’s Aurora in the Lion’s Gate production Shadow Force, directed by Joe Carnahan. Barbara is currently working on her first movie as a Screen- writer. In Italy she performed in a number of films, short films and live shows, including “Milonga Merini: Poesia Tango e Follia” with which she won the prestigious “Premio Internazionale Teatro di Volterra” award. A trained vocalist, Barbara has performed in several international music festivals, including Summer Jamboree (Italy) and Viva Las Vegas. She’s currently working on her second album.
